Poster Stamp
Collectors Club
<br />

One of things that always amazes in this hobby, after decades of people collecting and sharing information, is that new finds are continually made. You would think that ’there’s nothing new under the sun." Apparently, there is always the possibility that there is something new in that old album or in that old collection you just happened to buy!

The current issue of The Journal of the Poster Stamp Collectors Club features some new discoveries of the work of collector favorite Ludwig Hohlwein as well as Bertold Loeffler. Many of the newly discovered poster stamps are shown in color. All are given catalogue numbers by Holwein catalogue writer and publisher Charles Kiddle.

Also in the Volume 3, number 2 issue is part four of Gary Potter"s Hartford, Ct. article and a great presentation of Art Groten’s part 6 of "Plagiarisms," poster stamp designs used on other poster stamps or on other ephemera.

Members receive the Journal four times a year, always on a timely basis. Kudos to editor and club president Art Groten.
